These terms apply to every student of Vamika Academy and to the parent or guardian who enrols them. By submitting the admission form, you agree to them. Please read the fee and refund rules in particular.
1. Admission
Admission depends on seat availability in the chosen program and batch, and is confirmed only when the academy approves the application.
The details in the admission form must be true and complete. Please tell us promptly if a phone number, address or medical detail changes.
We place each child in a level and batch based on age and ability. We may move a child to a different batch if that suits their progress better.
2. Fees
Fees for each program are explained at the time of admission, together with the due dates.
Fees must be paid on or before the due date. A receipt is issued for every payment and is also available on the parent portal.
Competition, exam and event fees are separate from course fees and are announced with each event.
We may revise fees. Any revision applies from the next fee period and is announced in advance.
3. Refund policy
Fees are refunded only if you ask within 7 days of the payment date.
After 7 days from the payment date, fees are not refundable, including when a student stops attending, withdraws or is absent.
To request a refund, contact the academy office or write to info@vamikaacademy.com within the 7 days, quoting the student's name and the receipt number.
The refund is paid to the parent by the same method the fee was paid, where possible.
Fees cannot be transferred to another student.
4. Classes and attendance
Regular attendance and home practice are important for progress from one level to the next.
Please inform us in advance if your child will be absent. Make-up classes for missed sessions are offered at the academy's discretion.
We may change a class timing or cancel a class for holidays or unavoidable reasons, and will inform you in advance wherever possible.
5. Conduct and safety
Students are expected to be respectful to teachers and to other children and to take care of academy property.
Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child on time. We hand a child over only to a parent or a person the parent has named.
Please tell us about any medical condition or allergy so we can act correctly in an emergency.
The academy may suspend or end a student's enrolment for repeated misconduct, after discussing it with the parents.
6. Competitions and exams
Taking part in competitions and external exams is optional. Events run by other organisers follow those organisers' rules, fees and schedules, and we share the student details they need to register your child.
7. Photos and videos
We use photos and videos of your child only according to the choice you make on the admission form. You can change your choice at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Course material
Books, worksheets and other course material given by the academy are for the enrolled student's own use. They may not be copied, sold or shared for teaching elsewhere.
9. Parent portal and website
Keep your parent portal login to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
We try to keep information on the website and portal accurate. If a record looks wrong, please tell us so we can correct it.

10. Liability and governing law
We take care to teach well and to keep children safe. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Chennai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Changes to fees or the refund policy do not apply to fees you have already paid.
